I was contemplating an AR-15 as my first rifle for fun at the range, but a non-restricted one of these might be a better choice. Less transport headache, and if I ever do decide to give hunting a try, I don't need to buy a whole new rifle!

Will be keeping an eye on this thread...

Mmmnnnnyep. So, I'm assuming the american market is still far from being supplied, so we won't be seeing any in canada for at least another year... not taking into account the CFC's new delay tactic. About right?

Last time I checked there were only about 74 RFB rifles out there. Production right now is slow and demand is high.

Also no on the LE/Mil rifle purchases. Haven't heard anything yet. Not a surprise though considering the lack of availability. Also those of us that sent in the end user agreements were forewarned that it would be a long haul.

This is one of those rifles where you send in the paperwork, hope it happens but forget about it and then if it does happen it's like Christmas.

I have a 338 Lapua in the works right now to keep me busy :D

We need a non-restricted version.

I can already see the mark-up when one of these "used" hits the EE.

That's exactly what Dangertree is trying to get in. Again getting this rifle at all right now is being hopeful due to the already mentioned circumstances.

Here's another one for sale:

http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=140345678

I note that the description mentions the serial number is T01xx, so assuming the serial numbers started at T0001, this would back up what we've all been hearing: There are very, very few of these rifles in circulation.

Dangertree, any updates? It's been tough keeping my hands off the money I tucked away for those 2 RFB's I signed up for:)
