Hornady brass seems to be a hit and miss acquistion on quality. I have some that has been ok, others have had some they thought was no good. But brass reviews have to be taken with a grain of salt as well, lots of people load a bit warmer than they think they are. I've used Federal, it isn't overly consistent, last choice, and even then I'll buy loaded ammo to get brass rather than use Federal, Norma isn't a whole bunch better in my experience. If you can find Remington it is usually fairly consistent, otherwise, Lapua or RWS or perhaps the Prvi. I've had good luck with WW brass as well. Some batches anyone's brass seem to handle upper end loads better than others, depends on how hot you load it also. haven't tried it, but Peterson seems to be getting decent reviews.
Best primer for magnum cases are f215GM if you can get them handily, regular F215 is fine also, unless you are using a hand primer, then don't use Federal in it. CCI 250 and Rem 9-1/2m also have a place where they work well. Pretty much any powder from RL19 to H870 will work in a 7mag, generally the powders in the h4831 to Retumbo zone seem to be the best results for most people.
