Your favorite powder for 9mm

I'm just curious what type of powder everyone is using for the 9mm loads.

I use 231 as well. Lots of rounds per pound!

I use Tightgroup for minor factor IPSC loads,most consistent powder that I have ever used for this calibre and cheaper than most.

For heavier loads I use HS6,which shoots soft,but is a bit dirty.

6.5gr. of HS-6 used to be my 9mm 124gr. bullet load but I have since switched to 4.1gr. of Titegroup. Its official, all three of my pistol calibres love TG!

I used to use 231, but I switched to HS-6 for both 9mm and 10mm. I still use the 231/HP-38 for 38 special and 45 Colt.

I have two I like: Winchester Action Pistol and Winchester 540. Guess what? Both are discontinued. HS-6 is the same as 540 though.

These powders require somewhat larger charges than 231, but I have found the somewhat slower powders to be more accurate with cast lead 124 to 135 grain bullets.

I have a perfect powder for the 115 gr fmj load. It meters perfectly well in the Dillon, fills up the case nicely, is accurate in a variety of pistols (just over 2" at 25m), cronos about 1160 fps consistently and has mininal flash at night but I am keeping it a secret.

I'm using Unique in all my standard and magnum pistol loads. For full on magnum loads I run with WW-296.
