Your favorite ridiculous handgun price!

Why are you assuming a change in government will mean a change in laws? It's very difficult to reverse law. No party will touch gun laws with a ten foot pole. Once it's done it's done.

It is not difficult to undo an OIC... it only takes an OIC... it does not have to pass through parliament .

Are all the folks panic buying handguns just assuming the libtards will be around FOREVER??

The left has been increasing gun control bans, prohibitions, and restrictions for almost 100 years. They are getting more aggressive with each new change. I don't know of any step to ever reduce any of those restrictions or prohibitions, by any government, other than the dropping the registry which was mostly due to ridiculous cost, and did nothing to restrict or reverse any restriction on guns or classification.

The 2020 OIC still has a glimmer of hope for reversal in that it's a broken POS with no plan how to implement it properly or pay for it, and still has big cost associated. There is hope that if a conservative government takes power before it's fully implemented it can still fail, but it's very slim IMO.

The handgun freeze has no cost, and very little visual or public impact if it stays in place. It's ~2.5% of the country who own handguns, the majority of the rest have drank the Kool-Aid on how dangerous they are, and that no one needs a handgun.

Reversing either in part or fully, exposes those politicians for a full crucifixion on the first gun crime that can in anyway be connected to the reversal. It has little reward to appease 1 million Canadians and huge risk if it goes bad.

I'm hopeful, that neither are permanent, but not optimistic. The only real hope is the complete collapse of Canada.

Who'd've thought that unmarked Norc 1911A1's would be selling north of $800.

With 7 magazines and shipping included, so take 250 off and it was 600 for the gun

Wasn't being critical, I think it's great. I'm too attached to mine to sell it, though.

more than the left i suggest to read all the bans and you might find surprisingly that even the not so left banned and or prohibited guns ...

and im absolutelety agree with your last sentence: that is the only restart from scratch ...

if there is a will to do so ...

You don't think the "NEW" conservative movement wants to distance itself from the headline issues that were adopted by their immediate rivals? You don't think that Erin O-Toole provided a good example of why you don't alienate your base?
