For me clarity goes to S&B. When going back to the pmii after shooting my other rifles the sharper image is always noticeable. Maybe a TT could best it but I don’t own one of those.

I've only needed warranty on a Burris Fullfield II and a Leupold Rifleman. I don't really recommend those scopes over others of the same family, the Burris Signature and Leupold VX3 are both much better scopes. I have scopes from cheap to expensive and my favorites are probably the Vortex Razor HD LHT, Leupold VX-5HD, Burris Veracity, Swaro z3/z5, maybe a few others. But I'm not a scope snob and will try anything at least once - Meopta are new to me but well-regarded so I might give one a try in the future.

Totally depends on your usage.
What are you looking to do with it? Long range, short quick ranges? Cannot put any quality response with such an open ended broad question.
Some cheap entry level are great, most high end alpha optics are great. Never a problem with optics I have been running. Burris, Sightron, Leupold, Nightforce, Bushnell, Primary Arms, ZCO. Each one has had their place, and are bought for particular features that I am looking for, to get the required job done.
Best warranty is the one you never need to use. Buy once, cry once, and carry on in life!

I'm probably bias... my dad/uncle/friends of, were all using Leupold. So when I got in the game, that's what I bought (most of the time)
- Over the years, also ended with some IOR/2x Weaver/1x Bushnell/2x Cabelas/1x Zeiss
Can't really say I had any bad experience with any of them. 1x older Leupold EER got sent it for warranty, something got loose after too many full loads of 44.
- The service was fast, and I got a nice Leupold cloth and some stickers in the return box.
- Over the years, also ended with some IOR/2x Weaver/1x Bushnell/2x Cabelas/1x Zeiss

Ive had great experience with several manufacturers. Have never required service on any of them. Different brands including Bausch&Lomb/Bushnell,Kahles,Minox,Night Force,Sightron,Steiner,Vortex,Zeiss and USO with prices varying from $250 -$5000.

For the money Burris is hard to beat...
Warranty?
I have had to use on a couple Oracle bowsights that I broke through misuse and both times they were repaired FREE of charge.
Not too many companies do that nowadays.

I have several Simmons fix 4 power scope by 32 and eye relief and clarity are very good, I have a Sig Saur on my 240 wby and a Weaver Kaspa 2-7x32 on my Savage 223 all my scopes have excellent eye relief and clarity
I like Burris as well. gret glass. I think Burris gets its lenses from Steiner since they're both owned by Beretta Holdings.

In my early days when there was desire but no money, I got what was local and what I could afford. This site has spoiled me, the internet has brought many good (and a few bad) optics to my door. I like Leupold, Swarovski and Zeiss, minimum is Elite 3200's. I have a hatred for anything stamped Vortex, there are much better options for the money.
