im putting togeather a list for people just starting to hunt. Iv only been hunting for the past 2 years so im still learning lots(this is my 3rd year) so what do you bring with you on a hunt?
for me it depends if its an overnight or a day hunt but all togeather it is:
-gambrel
- atleast 50' of decent rope
-ball of butchar coard or twine
-10x10 heavy duty tarp
-assortment of sharp knifes (few pocket folders, skinning knife, gut hook ect)
-rope hoist (rated to 100lbs)
-flagging tape
-heavy duty black or orange garbage bags (largest size i can find)
-backpack
-game bags (at least 4)
-hatchet or machettie
-few small rope pullys
-calls, sents, cover spray, ect
-basic first aid kit
-extra gas for truck
-8L of drinkable water
-lighter and matches
-dry kindling (enough to be able to get wet wood found in the bush to burn)
-high protien and chaloric foods
-2 changes of clothes
-extra jacket
-tent
-sleeping bag and pad or airmatress
- multiple flashlights and extra batteries
-cooler
-eating utencils, pots pans ect.
