Your last rifle

Personally, my Zastava m70 in 375h&h. Irons and quick detach scope. I've had it for years and it just suits me. I've got it lobbing 300gr TSX's at 3/4 moa with essentially a 30/06 trajectory. There's no purpose in North America or most of the world it's not suited for. Slightly overkill on Gophers and varmints but you know... entertaining.

If I was starting over I'd get a cz550 in the same chambering with 250 or 270gr monolithic bullets as the 300gr isn't the best overall. If I wasn't a fan of the recoil (I'm huge so I don't notice it really) I'd go 338 win or 35 Whelen in some sort of guide gun. I have been packing a Remington 742 in 308 win as a truck/bush gun but it's a bit anemic for the grizzly out here and even some of the blacks are getting boarderline for my comfort level.

Room full and it would likely be that ugly old Savage 24 in .22/410 that fed me a couple times when I was younger & very broke

If you were to clear out all your irons, what is the last rifle you use for big game? Not looking for a calibre pissing match, just the Make and Model of your "one gun".

Doesn't have to be one you already own either...

Mine would be a Ruger M77 MKII .358 Carbine... Although it would kill me to get down to one rifle, I can't even get down to a dozen.

I recently did this and went down to one big game rifle - Sako 85 Black Bear. I’d have a much harder time if asked to do so with rimfires, shotguns, or handguns.
