Your least favorite step in reloading?

Resizing-cuz that's were you can damage a case (hard to come by for some of my stuff)

Accidentally over seating a cast&lubed bullet in a bottle necked case, pulling said bullet when there is 1 or more sticks of powder stuck to the lube and wedged between bullet and case neck.

+1. After buying a Giraud, I actually enjoying trimming. Quick, fun and painless !
 
1. Getting on hands and knees to crawl into mancave. (Side split crawl space)
2. wiping lube.
3. trimming & chamfering.
4. Wife yelling "are you going to spend all night in there"?
 
Has to be weighing out powder. My RCBS does a decent job of throwing consistent charges, but I insist on checking it every four or five throws with the beam scale. Max loads are all weighed individually, because I'm safety paranoid like that. If I just bought an electronic scale, it wouldn't be so bad.
 
Waiting for the tumbler to clean my brass so I can get back at it, I have 2 vibrating biggest they make now, and just wore out a third. Wish they made one that would do a 1000 large rifle at once.
 
Case prep, cleaning off that D*mn lube. How does that 1200 work? I bought a girard and have been wondering if that was the best decision.
 
My least favourite step is sorting brass, as it takes a long time. Luckily, i reload for bolt rifles, so i only have to do it when i acquire new lots of mixed 1f or mix them in the tumbler :S
 
Being the lazy bastard that I am, I always try to find the easy way to do things.
I use spray lube on my cases. Use a tumbler with extra fine corn cob media to clean them. Extra fine corn cob does not get stuck in the primer pockets, I hated that. I do not clean primer pockets because it really does not make any difference. If I see a couple that are really crudded up I will touch them with a primer pocket tool. I use a Gracey power trimmer that cuts to length and chamfers both inside and outside in one 2 second operation.

I prime all my pre weighed brass and put them into MTM 50 boxes. All 1800 cases before moving to the next step in loading.

I still throw all my charges then weigh each one to -.0+.02 gr on my Acculab Vic 123 then seat bullets. This takes about 40-45 minutes to actually load a box of 50 after all the prep work it done.

The part that I really hate the most is when I am up until midnight, or later the night before a match still loading ammo.:bangHead:
 
Just bought the reloading equipment and just finished reading the: Modern Reloading second edition by Richard Lee. What stumps me and I haven`t even started yet is: His "load data" and the Hodgdon "load data" are both different. This scares me as a first timer, since I don`t want my gun to be in pieces and my fingers flung in every direction at the range!!!
