I'll see the .44 Ruger Blackhawks and raise you a Ruger Super Redhawk with a barrel shortened to 4.25 in .44Mag. Big BOOOOM! ! s and HUGE fireballs.... 
The loudest handgun I've been around when it goes off is a 5 inch S&W in .460 that has a compensator on it. It has a concusion wave that literally rattles rib cages within about 4 to 5 feet away at an indoor range.

Going to have to go with the S&W 460 mag in the 8in + barrel I have one and try not to shoot it at indoor ranges, tends to knock pictures off the wall (true story) that sucker has so much flash and power you could nuke a hotdog with the flash! It doesn't just get you to just stand up and take notice it COMMANDS attention and it does bark like the big dogs!!!!!

I have a Dan Wesson Model 44 with a fully shrouded eight inch barrel and it's pretty darn repectable due to it's mass. Even with full house loads.
That's the biggest BOOM & FLASH I've personally have seen and shot.
From my own collection, would have to be my newly acquired Single Action .357 magnum.
I would say either the 500 or 460 S&W due to the operating pressures of both being 60,000 PSI or better and large muzzle compensator, the 50 AE might be impressive but at 35,000 PSI maximum it just doesn't generate the gas pressure to generate the sound waves of the other two.
People at the range told me that my 500 S&W sounds totally different than other handguns when they heard it from the rifle range that is about 100 yards away, most said it sounded more like a rifle.
I fired my 44 Mag without ear plugs ONCE many years ago just to see what was like, I will never repeat that test with a handgun again.

I shot the DE in .50AE, BFR in .45/70 and S&W .500 back to back to back and would say in a loudness competition the standings would have to be:
1. S&W .500
2. BFR .45/70
3. DE .50AE
After shooting all three in Vegas like that, I came home and ordered the S&W .500

At Poco we did a non-seinctific test between the 44mag, 460 & the 500 S&W. The winner was...5.5" Ruger Redhawk in .44 Mag. Full power loads throw big flames and lots of noise to go with the recoil.

The only way I know to get any bigger a thrill would be to strap a rocket to your butt !!! lol

Me to, I have a 460v with 5 inch barrel and when running full on 460 loads it's rediculous. Huge fireball and it rattles your teeth. I like to wear my custom fitted earplugs and the muffs when shooting in enclosed areas.
I actually want to take it to an indoor range just to see how loud it is indoors.
It's pretty loud with 454 casull loads as well.
Second place in my collection is my Glock 10mm.
