Skimming over it seems that only the Armalite variant uses the longer tuben

My "first preorder" rifle was definitly not forged.
Apparently that FAQ is full of misleading information. According to SFRC, the guy that did it doesn't work there anymore.

Question for people more in the know than myself. My 102 will be showing up someday (IOP buy), and I'm looking to swap out to an A2 fixed stock. I've got an A2 stock and buffer tube from a 597 VTR, my question is do I require a different buffer and spring as well?
