Your opinion of the RobArms XCR

Two thumbes up!
Just waiting for them to release in Canada the 7.62x39mm. Trigger's do need a little work but besides that the new release rifles are great!

Two of my friends have them. One has had no problems so far, one has broken a piece holding on the rear stock, another part from the firing system broke once too, sorry can't quite remember what it exactly was. His might be a lemon. It's about a year old. But the other has worked flawlessly. Nice shooter to take in the bush (yippe unrestricted), takes AR mags that are cheap to buy.

I usually get 1-2 inch groups depending on ammo. No problems here but the trigger does leave alot to be desired. There are match triggers being sent to Wolverine and my name is on the list.

There are lots of good threads that have discussed this to death. But seeing as the search function blows, I'll summarize.

approx 2k. Get from Wolverine.
Great customer support - Manufactureres rep here in the forum.
Well designed rifle, not perfect, but very good and a unique offering.
Nice materials and come loaded with goodies. (Quad rails, MI BUIS, sights)
Accuracy is so so on most. Some are bad, some are great. Like most factory rifles.
Placed roughly in between the SIGs and the ARs.
Excellent gas handling, adjustable so you can work it to your loads. Very clean action.
Some minor QC hickups in the first 2k production rifles, but customer service is excellent and they have offered to fix everything for free.
Easy maintenance and design. Anyone can field strip the whole thing without tools, without effort and without reading the manual. (At least I did.)
Most excellent ergonomics: especially the ambidextrous slide release.
Unrestricted rifle AND takes LAR-15 10 round pistol mags. Most excellent combo.

I love mine, and I will never sell. Equipped with Aimpoint Comp M3 on an ARMS QD mount that co-witnesses. I get a chubb every time I think about it.

Mine is not very accurate as I get about 2MOA, but that is enough for 100% on the 200 yard gong at my range and that is what I bought it for.

yup trigger is crap. mine is one of the first 25 that came to canada. The only problem I had was a couple Failure to Feeds. I then tried the suspect mag in my AR and it wouldn't feed in it either. Bent lip I think.

It is a little front heavy, with the 18.6" HBAR, but it is awesome for gophers. It shoots as well as my AR15, and with both guns, the limiting factor for accuracy is me, I'm not that great of a shot. There were some pics on arfcom of a guy who shot sub moa with his, but I can't do it.

mrsmitty- you know the price on the match trigger? I'm gonna need one.

There will be a few guys in here shortly to tell you it's a crap gun.

I love mine. She's been 100%, running dirty on setting #1.

I work for RA, and have thusly been accused of bias... But I'm really not. I'm not a salesperson, so don't have that much to gain by making things up. :p

The rifle is beautiful and perfect when built right. Whenever there is a problem, it is strictly our fault and not the platform's. We do our best to rectify all issues. Some people never bother to call me when they have a problem, and instead tell everyone about it without bothering to get it fixed.

Our customer base is just shy of 4000 pretty happy people. I like to keep it that way.

I'v seen a few like the white and black obove. Same paint job in green and black. do you buy them like that with the sculls and everything or did you paint yourself. I want to purchase from wolverine but I think they are on backorder at the moment

lol I had a friend do it. He's the one with the green ones you spoke of. He has done great paint jobs for many of the guys on the xcrforum as well. :)

AR stocks will fit - if you have the adapter. Unfortunately we aren't allowed to send those to Canada. The tube stock we put on there isn't so bad. We're hoping export of the new stock we're developing will be allowed... then they'll be on future rifles.
