Obviously he knows he's talking about epps. Pretty sure he's commenting on the fact there is no such thing as a websight

I have a websight on one of my rifles, it has little hairs that run horizontal and vertical..............perfect for aiming and hitting stuff

This is hilarious. They have a real time inventory not too difficult to search. If I see things in stock, I have never had to question it. They send me photos in a timely manner. They are listed near the top of places I go search when I am looking for a certain product, especially in used. Used prices are amongst the best I can find out there.

I find the site a little awkward compared to other, and it could use some improvement. But it works if you keep playing around there for a while.

The site is set up to search for particular items. The old site was great for browsing purposes. If you know exactly what you want its a great arrangement. Browsing for deals on it definitely is a struggle!

love the store.... not a huge fan of the site. IMHO in would be nice to shop online for accessories, ammo, etc. The site is only good to see what is in stock.

and hey.. can we have some pictures.. ?

I realize you guys do a great bit of business in the store, but sometimes I avoid it because it is just so dang busy!! Having the option to shop for everything on the web site might help tap into a larger market.

love the store!

What is websight?

I'll give the OP the benefit of doubt in spelling, and say he probably just finished a sci-fi novel called "Wake" by a Canadian writer where the blind main character plugs into the Internet and has the ability to see the Internet through "websight"... .
(-:

Their website always makes me feel like I'm hunting for a deal. You have to put in a little bit of time and if you're patient and lucky you will find a deal worth your time.

No excuse to have a #### website in today's age. They don't care because they have enough customers anyways and it clearly shows when you are in the store.

Some people here dont seem to realize the volume of firearms going through the store. There are guns that are added to their inventory and before it hits the rack it is sold. How do you propose they take pictures of every used firearm that comes in ? Not to mention have enough storage on their server to hold the number of pictures their photo gu takes.

If you want pictures email them for them you likely wont wait more than a couple hours if pictures need taking, if they dont likely wont take as long. If it gets sold while waiting. Someone bought it without seeing pictures.

Their site may not be the best. But surely not the worst. Lebarrons is far worse In my opinion.

I dont find the search to hard to navigate, what are you searching for that you cant find ?

Lebarrons is as bad as it gets..I don't bother with it and the staff doesn't either they refer to printed catalogs to look up stuff.. :(

I like their website. There are plenty of search options (manufacturer, action type, classification, calibre, etc.) And i like that i can filter the search results by price or date added. Maybe they didnt have stock on what the OP was sesrching for

Epps website is something directly out of 1996.

Like something you would browse on your Commodore 64 with a dial-up modem.

It looks way out of place in 2014.

If you know how to use the advanced search, it's the best of any gun website. You can really narrow it down. All semi pistols in 45ACP under a grand, new and used? Sure (EDIT, speaking of website that sucks, this forum's URL parser sucks, link fixed)

Let's try this

As far as pics, I agree it sucks but it only sucks for a windowshopper. A new gun looks like any other. For used guns, you can email their photo guy and he will send you huge, detailed photos of anything you want within the day. Yes it's an extra step but for a serious buyer it's not a big deal. Granted, sometimes I don't know that I want a gun because I didn't know it existed (or looked the way it does). But I can understand why they wouldn't want to spend many calories catering to a buyer like that, especially with the volume of used guns that go through there - they'd spend half the day taking pictures.
