Just ordered some from them, fuk me. Wish I knew that earlier I wouldn't have ordered the case of the other kind. Man I got #### loads of slugs now.

They are amazing slugs. Load 1 round of birdshot, and 1 round of Black Magic and feel the difference in recoil. It's almost comical.

I bought them when they were on sale for $9.60 USD per 5 rounds. Total costs for everything shipped to my door, exchanged to CDN was $4.21 per round. At the current price of $12.44 USD per box, I estimate that it would cost about $4.91 per round.

These are not something you want to shoot often due to cost and recoil, but they are nice to have if you need them.

Mine was similar 12 something us, 15 boxes 380 or so I think. That's not including the gst and shipping.

I like my 8 pellet 0000 buck .385 balls. IN close gulp! They hold enough pattern for 60 yards pizza box kills.


Here I make them with my lee hand load set.

I have a box of the BOTTOM brand, think I paid a little under $15 all in? Are the the same as the above brand?

Those brenneke slugs sound great but way too expensive. How does the canadian made challenger slug compare? At a glance they seem similar.. Pretty sure the wad stays attached like a brenneke to stabilize it in flight. The price is right on the challengers.
Another slug I have heard is a real thumper I s the Remington buck hammer, especially in 3", ouch.

We don't have grizzlies here so any brand name slug will do for me and lately that means the Score slugs. More often than not I carry 3" buffered 00 buck with me in case I come across a wolf while bird hunting.
