I had one in 458. It was reamed to 460 weatherby and the mag was opened up quite a bit. I love the rifle. A little light though. 8 pounds 6oz

These are just amazing rifles so well-built so many features including an adjustable trigger and all metal hardware. I've had many 6.5x55s including the CZ and a Zastava I just sold to another CGNer. I have now made the switch to a 6.5 CM but still love the accuracy of the Swede and reliability of the Zastava.

Zastava makes the rifle in in a full stock version as well, but none were available. Little shorter barrel at 20"; mine has a 22". I love a double set trigger; I have one an a sporterized 7 x 57 Brazilian Mauser.

I have heard the safety blocks the trigger on the Zastava M70, does it also block the firing pin?
Just a trigger block safety, doesn't block the firing pin or lock the bolt closed.
