You should call Zeiss for support. There are many variables, and the Z1000 is the most confusing one.
Actually, Slughunter, I'm good. This scope's been set up for a long time. But using a .223 with a ballistic reticle designed for a .308 means that I've got some random ranges and my even numbers are, more often than not, on unmarked hashmarks at different magnifications except for my zero. So I actually have to do ALL of the things Sheephunter says I don't. (And the windage marks aren't even close for light bullets.)
