There's no comparison! VX3 is the only way to go. But if you like problems and hassles...by all means.
I have owned four Zeiss scopes, six Swarovski scopes, two Kahles scopes, five Bushnells,a Weaver,a Simmons,a Nightforce, and about a dozen Leupolds. The only scope that I ever sent back was a Zeiss that was involved in a horsewreck, and there were no problems or hassles at all.The service was prompt with no charge at all, even though the scope was damaged and not defective.I had two Leupold variables that I could barely turn the magnification ring, but rather than send them back,I sold them.In fact,I no longer own a single Leupold scope, since I replaced them all with scopes that I prefer.
When I was in the market for a new scope for my first Cooper rifle,I compared the Conquest, the vx3,the Swarovski av,and a Kahles. The Kahles and Swarovski appeared to have equal optics, with the Conquest close behind, and the VX3 brought up the rear.I chose the Kahles since it was over $250 cheaper than the Swarovski, and was slightly shorter in length.
