Zoli lovers?

I've shot 100's of thousands of rounds and have had several failures. Beretta, Browning, Krieghoff..... all guns will break given the chance.
Me too but the difference is how easy is the fix. A leaf spring in a Perazzi trigger is a quick replacement. Breaking a spring in a Krieghoff trigger as I discovered is a little harder to resolve.

A cocking handle sheared on my Beretta 391. It still worked and a replacement wasn't hard to find. Meanwhile on Remington 1100s I've had broken actions bars (twice), a link and extractor. Losing the link and the action bar put my out of business for the day.

Any gun will break something if you shoot it often enough. The question is how quickly can you get the problem resolved and how easy the parts are to acquire.

You are lucky then. I've shot 100's of thousands of rounds and have had several failures. Beretta, Browning, Krieghoff..... all guns will break given the chance.

Brad.

My experiance as well ... with Berettas, Brownings, Remingtons & Winchesters ... 682's, Superposed's, Citori's, 58's, 1100's, 11-87's,
Model 12's, 42's, 101's and SX-1's. Extractors, ejectors &, springs and gas seals primarily. Never owned a Marocchi, Kolar, Perazzi or Kreighoff, but seen them break too, (usually trigger problems) as I have a couple of high-end Piottis, Purdeys & an H&H. So far the most reliable I've owned is a Beretta DT-10 ... it's gone 50,000 + rounds, without a single malfunction. Some day, something will give, but I'm not overly concerned. I know where to get parts and who to get to repair it properly. Never had an issue with a Browning BSS or older Ithaca (SKB) 200 or 600, but never shot any of them much past 10,000 rounds.

The newer Zolis seem to enjoy a good reputation south of the border with the Sporting crowd, but I'm a little leary of the older models. :)
