Zombie Ammo PRESALE! Hornady

i just dont knock what others do, as long as it does not affect me or my family. if someone wants to prepare for something that will never happen, so what? i do things that some people find useless, like collect firearms.

I always tought zombies were pure fiction.

Never been to Walmart on the weekend?
Ontario just elected a liberal gov't
Manitoba just elected the NDP again

I don't need nymore proof that the country is already full of mindless, shambling revenants.

^^ It is kinda sad how some people take the whole zombie thing way too seriously. I get what you're saying. It sounds fun in theory, but in practice I think it would get boring fast, having no luxuries and scrounging for food all day, constant threat of death. All that good stuff.

These are made for collecting, nothing more.

It's fun how people always think that if something like the zombie apocalipse happens they will be in the .001% that aren't zombies....

Not at all, doing somthing fun is certainly fine. However I have actually spoken to people (not just on the internet, actually face to face) who are preparing for a zombie apocolypse. Not kidding, not for fun, but dead serious. He explained to me his and his roommates plans. (No girlfriends, any of them) He told me about the weapons they are making. They don't actually have any real guns, but with the weapons they have they can aquire them and are quite certain they can fend off the zombies with their current weapons.

I'm not joking.

It's fine enough to do somthing out of fun, but there will always be those out there who take fun too far. These guys were scary. What you or I call fun these guys call serious. I'll never be able to look at a box of that ammo without thinking how these guys would react if they saw it.

Please tell me these guys don't live anywhere near where I live. Please!

On second thought, last night I had two people come up to me begging for change so they could buy drugs ("I need money for the bus"). Maybe there really are zombies. :(

Are these boxes your creation as Hornady seems to Know nothing about this ammo ?

????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? No reply to my Question????????????

It must be a Hornady deal, just google it:

This is from a blog that comes up under that search. :D

Really Hornady? Really? In a new low for marketing ammunition, I found this terrible package through a fellow shooting enthusiast. Not only does Hornady make this “Zombie Ammunition: Just In Case” packaging appealing to children and derpers of the world, but the ammunition itself is nothing more than repackaged A-Max ammunition with a neon green tip. Clocking in at over a dollar per round, these rounds are definitely nothing more than show pieces. They don’t do anything differently than standard ammunition (not that I would expect them to), and I’m disappointed in the company as a whole in trying to play up the entertainment angle on an item that should be taken very seriously. Packaging a dangerous product to mimic a toy to buy into a fad for self promotion is reprehensible in my opinion. Ok, rant over, carry on.

I know I'm not the first to mention, but 9mm is all sold out on SFRC. Did you order a set amount and it's all presold, or are you going to be ordering more? He asks hopefully...

I'm in. I don't have a gun in any of those calibers yet, but, well, once I have a box of ammo, I guess I HAVE to buy a gun to go with it.... :D

That's the spirit!

You're joking right?
We're all buying a box or 2 for novelty... why would you want to spend the money on 200 rounds???? If you're buying for u and friends I can understand but you realize they're no different that a regular round....
We're all paying for the box art.

The 223. isnt THAT overpriced actually.

Most places in town charge more for crappier ammo.
