Zombie Ammo PRESALE! Hornady

Just ordered 2 boxes of 115gr 9mm. 21$ in shipping to BC. Does that seem a little steep to anyone?? It said the 2 boxes of 9mm would weigh 2.26kg... I dunno, stoked for the ammo tho lol
 
You probably would have found the shipping price was the same for 10 boxes. 1 or 2 boxes is never a great deal for shipping.

Why? Because they did something fun? No different than the special "John Wayne" or other ammo offered by others, IMO. Some people like to collect stuff like this.

Not at all, doing somthing fun is certainly fine. However I have actually spoken to people (not just on the internet, actually face to face) who are preparing for a zombie apocolypse. Not kidding, not for fun, but dead serious. He explained to me his and his roommates plans. (No girlfriends, any of them) He told me about the weapons they are making. They don't actually have any real guns, but with the weapons they have they can aquire them and are quite certain they can fend off the zombies with their current weapons.

I'm not joking.

It's fine enough to do somthing out of fun, but there will always be those out there who take fun too far. These guys were scary. What you or I call fun these guys call serious. I'll never be able to look at a box of that ammo without thinking how these guys would react if they saw it.
 
^^ It is kinda sad how some people take the whole zombie thing way too seriously. I get what you're saying. It sounds fun in theory, but in practice I think it would get boring fast, having no luxuries and scrounging for food all day, constant threat of death. All that good stuff.

These are made for collecting, nothing more.
 
whats is sad is that Hornady is offering " zombie ammo" that is a copper jacketed, polymer tipped, lead bullet. Thats not taken down any zombies. We need at least a incendiary, or explosive round. Hornday is ginna have a big lawsuit on there hands when theres zombies chalk full of yellow tipped rounds running around tear'n #### up...
