I like the idea of having a dewat pistol as the prize and circulating it around until the next one....kinda like the green jacket of the masters. Bragging rights for a year sounds pretty good.

I think a used Norinco 1911 is as close to a free pistol as you're gonna get.
Not sure what needs to be done to dewat it.

Maybe weld the slide to the frame on the non-presentation side?

If you are local to EESA we should be holding one in April I would think

What does getting your black badge involve? I never really been interested in getting it until now so i know nothin at all about ipsc, idpa and other shooting sports as i havnt studied up on them. I hate zombies and i would happily get a black badge to help rid EESA of them.

Thankfully this nonsense doesn't find it's way to the range. It's a blast...trust me

Guff knows this quite well. He is an EESA IPSCer and is credited for the posters and artwork for this match as well as our last charity match.

A real boon to the team........

I love people who put their talents to work for the common good!!

Zombie Apocolypse Talk

U may wnt to watch the "zombie apocalypse" talk my buddy got an infraction for just using the title "zombie apocalypse". Nothing he said really had anything to do with the apocolypse. Ironically the same moderator who gave the infraction has some gun range zombie apocalypse shoot going on...... I guess it's do as I say not do as I do.... Hmmmmm sounds like a Liberal

What format are the multi-gun stages going to be?
Transitions with slings or guns put down and transition etc.

I worked on stages and a Rule set this past weekend, I am just awaiting approval from the rest of the committee before they are posted.

Saying that, it is a pretty safe bet that we won't be asking people to sling loaded firearms, and do transitions with slings at this event. I am pretty confident that we will be staging shotguns and rifles and transitioning into racks of some form. Speaking for myself, as this is the first event of this nature being held at EESA, I want to see things happen as safely as possible, and with the fewest possibilities for "OH ####" moments!

I am thinking your "Buddy" probably overstepped his bounds on one of the Forum Rules. I don't think anyone in this thread has been infracted because of talking about a Zombie shooting event

What about transitioning from empty shotgun/carbine/rifle to Pistol?
Still have to show an empty gun as you would when transitioning in to racks.

Or are the stages going to be set up the other way, pistol to long gun?
