:)

what is this wun? 22/45 lower...but the upper/barrel is obviously not stock. doesn't look like any 'LITE' model I've seen either, LOL!

There are threads to mount compensators like so under the thread protector.
if that's targeted at me, I am aware of the threading...the protector is quite obvious. however, the barrel, etc, is not stock. so I am curious to know more! if it's a Lite that's been modified, or if this is one of the standard 22/45 that's been modified. :)

that is because I just bought the gold one from EE a few weeks ago. because I couldn't find a black model I wanted. I plan to make a steel challenge 22/45 out of mine.
I already bought a Burris Fastfire II for it. would love to get my hands on some Rim-Edge custom parts for it.

wayupnorth where did you get your break & how do you like it?

i like the break, i had it custom made down in the states at maddmac's and had to mess around to get it mailed up as he dosnt export. thank god i have family down in Texas!

i actually had him make me a couple for a couple guns.
i really like them and he's a great guy to deal with.
in fact he is horrible to deal with because he loves to do custom work and once you get talking to him you get all creative and that costs more, haha!

and that gun is 100% stock with the exception of the comp and the Hogue grip.

Good points. Just not too keen on buying from USA...

Who cares, our government has designed the system with taxes and duty that make these products more expensive for us. Plus irunguns operates out of Canada and employs Canadians. What's the difference between them bringing in US product and any other Canadian selling US product?

Just order the damn thing :p

I have to come up with some damn excuse don't I lol ;)

Brocolt...what do you mean by 'make a steel challenge 22/45 out of mine'?

steel challenge means shooting steel .22 targets?

Yes... Steel challenge is popular in the US & Ruger used to have .22 rim fire steel challenge matches to get people info shooting firearms, which I would love to see here. But our CFO's seem to think it's a huge safety issue with Steel plates on Ranges... Some places I would agree. anyways I'm building one & the CFO's can *####0FF

something like this.. photos borrowed for internet. full blown trigger job around 2-3lbs, magwell, mag bumpers, extended controls, muzzle break, red dot or fiber optics.

The best Idea is to get Canadians to make these product here, because if there ever was a issue where importing these items could no longer be done.. Who gives a Sh!t. we make our own parts.
This is also a problem, if the US stopped the export of guns, parts & ammo we are screwed.. There is no Manufacturing of ammo in Canada. So if supplies run dry we are done. Canada can't defend it's borders.

What about colt and the c7 and c8 rifles?

well, as I mentioned earlier, I put in my pre-order for this. I've also sent an email to a sponsor to hold the 22/45 LITE in blue they have. now I just have to find a gold LITE.

regarding those compensators you had made in the US. you said thank goodness for US family. were they able to just send them up to you, or did you have to fill out a crap load of paperwork to satisfy ITAR? when I get mine, I will be interested in compensators for them...and while I don't have family in the US, I do have friends.

thanks! :)
