Walked in to buy a Mossberg 930...walked out with a Benelli M4

Is there a 28" barrel for the M4, so with a stock and barrel change it can do double duty in the goose blind?

The only other barrel available is the 14".

not to my understanding. if you want double duty, go 930, M2, or versaMax. the M4 is all about whoopass.

I have both the M4S90 and the Mossberg 930 Blackwater edition. Is the M4S90 better? Yes. Does its 3x price tag make it 3x as good? Im pretty impressed by the 930 for the price but after 200 rounds its a bit premature to comment on long term reliability. I prefer my M4S90 but the 930 Seems like a lot of bang for the buck though..
Anyone run their 930 hard and had issues? Also add a mesa 6 round side saddle with built in top rail. You wont regret it.

For those that are asking about a longer barrel - the UTS-15 barrel extension (7") will thread on. However, it has no bead on the end or anything. It is also threaded for a choke.

Currently have a 14" supernova tactical but I have been thinking about adding the M4 to my stable, I would really like to find one with an 18" barrel and the comfortech stock.

Plant some pumpkins. Save your 2 liter soda bottles. Build a 10' wide fence x 3' high with out of scrap wood somewhere you can shoot. Place mature pumpkins and bottles along top of fence along with bottles filled with coloured water. Grab M4, ammo and ........ Repeat several times and then try to wipe the cheesy ear to ear grin off your face that you will wear for the rest of the day.

I'd be careful using it for hunting purposes even when plugged depending on the CO may not like the fact you would be able to Ghost Load a 4th round.

6 in the tube (6 2.75" that is, the tube will hold 5.9 3"), one in the chamber, one on the lifter (ghost loaded) = 8 rounds of semi auto goodness (or badness, depending which end of the gun you're on )

Option 2 - 5 rounds of 3" followed by a 6th round in 2.75" or wherever in the mag you want the 2.75". Ghost load a 3" and chamber a 3" and prepare for a sore shoulder lol!

there is no comfortech for the m4, there is a fixed field stock but doesn't have the comfortech system in it
