I wouldn't do it. There's a cutout in the barrel extension. Epoxy could flow in to the lug recesses. The barrel gets really hot at the chamber and I think most epoxies would have trouble holding on. Personally I think the best approach to accurizing is the same as all semi auto rifles. Tighten things up. The set screw only causes accuracy issues if you don't know how to tighten it properly. There is a torque spec. Use a torque wrench and if the thread locker is worn out and not holding then apply more. If the crown is poop then recrown it or have it recrowned. Stop loading it with cheap garbage ammo and expecting match accuracy, handload or try quality factory loads. Put some quality optics on it if you cant achieve match accuracy with service rifle irons. If all that fails then the barrel is more than likely not up to snuff. My last XCR had no trouble holding 1.25" @ 100 yds with mild handloads and FMJ bullets. The barrel bolt was always torqued and never came loose. I swapped the OE brake for a YHM Phantom. No other accurizing was done. My next XCR is on the way, I'll see how it shoots when it gets here. Maybe I'll pick up some match bullets and give it a go.
