Johnn.......Marshal and I discussed the various bullet weights he'd be able to produce, all of which would be heavy for caliber, and decided 1-8 would be the most universal twist across the entire family of cartridges and velocities. The 243 has a 1-9 twist and will only barely stabilize a 105 gn VLD bullet so a longer bullet in a smaller caliber would obviously need a tighter twist. I may order a 1-10 twist button for the big cases in the future, but for now I'll try the 1-8 and if I start misting bullets out of the Douglas, I'll probably look at a 1-10 button.
