Except it's a T88 - there are already some in the country, NR status in 5.56

And for whatever reason, the 5.56mm Type 88 export (KBU-97A) has now changed name to NQU-03. It may just be that they don't have the scope with it anymore. More information from the 2014 China Police Showcase here:

The wood the chinese use is in no way better than plastic and its being shown with the t97nsr and its called the nr (non restricted?) if i had to guess north sylvia is bringing it in

ya, so 599.00 with 2 mags and a cleaning kit for the glorified ak/sks is about the cap.
even those t97 rifles are way overpriced...... jeebus, they are norincos.... just add 500 more "because" it's a bullpup? LOL not my wallet.
