My C8A3 build

Things are going to break, but yours is the first instance I've heard of one breaking, aside from smashing one off a LAV (which would have broken ANY mount), and I've seen bent ones, but again any mount would have bent under the circumstance. I've broke a "claw" charging handle, but it was well used by the time I wrecked it. Almost everyone I know replaced it with a normal one because it had a tendency to get hung up on your gear, myself included.
Lots of guys also used the CADEX grip successfully and without a single issue. Stand it on or brace it against a mud wall and it'll do a great job of getting some accurate fire down range.
With all of the issued kit, there are better things out there. Having said that, I have not had a single problem with any of it, and I've utilized it for it's intended purpose with excellent results, with the exception of the "claw" charging handle.
Most of the kit we have has been used and abused by every retard who thinks they're a super soldier. Baby Huey with more brawn than brains will easily break any charging handle given enough brute force and ignorance.
The same for our vehicles, they have the piss driven out of them by two feet drivers, and jammy idiots. But this doesn't mean any of it is crap, it's just beat up. Just look at the issue with replacing the ML. They look like crap, they drive like crap, but they work and are proving hard to replace with something equally capable.

EDIT: I apologize for the rant and I don't mean to say that anyone's opinion is wrong. I just have a hard time with all the the complaints about the equipment since my experience and observations are very different. And more so, if there was a problem, I or one of my teammates would have noticed, especially considering the amount use actual combat use our rifles and our gear saw. That's my main reason for having such confidence in my statements and the equipment. The stuff worked, in real world situations, without complaint.

Yeah your rant was kind of scary man, haha! Especially for a nugget like me who’s had no operational experience and beaking off, to hear something like that from someone who’s had a ton.......I wanted to go back and edit everything I said bad about the issue kit, then crawl into a hole somewhere, haha!

On another note, I just got notification my rifle arrived and is awaiting pick-up at the post office. It’s not the SA15.7 though, it’s the SA20. Do you guys want me to post some pictures here, or start a new thread?

All I got today is a RCMP letter saying to prove my range membership... This isnt fair....

Haha, I'm off work in one hour, should take me another hour to fight through traffic to get home, maybe 20min to get to the post office and back, another 20min to snap some photos, upload them and post them here. Check back here in about 3 hrs :)

BTW Im half in the bag.... What I say in 3 hours cant be held against me.... lol.... You should start a SA20 thread for the haters....

The only thing I don't like about the triad is that it makes the rifle front heavy with a PEQ and light. Never seen anyone break one in two tours with most being dismounted as well. I had a EOTech but preferred the Elcan due the the distance of engagements. Being a medic my primary role was not putting rounds down range but when I did my C8 worked well even with the Cadex VFG :)

Perfect,,, :)

Now the real question is, Do I put the KAF special butt mag pouch that I purchased from a local at the bazar... lol.... I really want the authentic POG look....

Well, that’s the thing, could these items have been acquired legally? I know that the TRIAD rail was never for sale to the public, but could Diemaco have given free samples to their employees at one point in time, factory rejects maybe?

A triad rail has been produced by at least one airsoft company. If you see one for sale it MAY be fake

That is ###y! I ordered the exact same one the other day so I bet mine can't be too far away. And I'm really happy to see that it has the CF handguards (at least I'm fairly certain and they're easy to discern because they look like fibreglass), AND it has the triangular front handguard retainer. I'm also a guy who loves the issue stuff (obviously lol), as close as I can get it!

Oh yeah, definitely has the glass reinforced plastic hand guards. You can see the fibre in the cross section where they drilled out holes. I stripped it for cleaning and suddenly had flashbacks of BMQ and preparing for inspection....must be the alcohol.

I've had a few myself, and feeling nostalgic.
Also, I didn't mean to come down on you, or anybody about the issue gear. Opinions vary and I felt I had to share mine, albeit with a rant lol. We all have our reasons for loving or hating these things lol.
Can't wait to get mine!
