Is there a problem with not doing that until you get home hours later? BC regs state that I have to transport it with one wing for ID. Some guys have mentioned that I should clean them immediately so they can cool off.

There's 4 good ways too do it, personally I'd say just pluck the feathers off the breast bone peel the skin off and cut the breast meat off each side. But to each his own!
