The BCRA holds the cheques to make sure the match goes ahead before cashing them. Fear not, your cheque will be cashed soonSame here. I sent them in over a month ago and nothing yet.

than a shooter.
and World class shooter. We are fortunate to have him as our Match Director.Only 8 confirmed? Darn. For what it is worth I had my registration in months ago and my cheque was cashed long ago as wellThanks for putting the match on regardless ...
My 2 cents: Having both attended the provincial match and being registered for the van isle match, the BCRA is pretty unorganized. You get no confirmation of your registration and no communication whatsoever on date changes, it's up to the entrant to make sure they stay on top of any changes - including trying to find out if the event is even going to occur. This makes it pretty unappealing to people trying to go to a match for their first time. Registration via snail mail, cheques, it's all very outdated. If the BCRA wants to attract new members and new competitors to their matches they need to step up their game. Make it easy for people to register, to find out additional information. Keep the website up to date with event specific pages with information, not just a schedule. Advertise. Membership fee's are high for those entering a single match a year (the introductory membership is nice, but I don't know if I'll renew next year for the matches - especially with uncertainty. I would prefer match fees to be higher.) Being volunteer run is difficult but if the BCRA wants to attract the next generation of shooters it will have to adjust. Consider this my volunteer application
I'm still thankful that the event is occurring, and for your efforts Gunnerlove, PMJ, Mike. It'll be a great match regardless and I'll have fun.
Abbreviated course of fire.
200m deliberate, all 10 on score.
200m sitting mover
200m sitting snap off partners shoulder
400m deliberate all 10 on score
400m prone snap
400m prone mover
500m Deliberate all 10 on score
500m prone Snap
500m prone 5 minute deliberate on a fig 12 or Fig 14 (figure 14 is worth more points).
Simple, and some things most people don't practice regularly.
10 rounds per stage for a total of 90?

we tried to get more involved about 5 years ago and drive the tactical rifle aspect into more of a forefront with the BCRA....it wasnt highly regarded then by some of the old guard and I reckon its still the case.....we even had our own dedicated website that was funded personally by one of us....but intrest again dwindled so we are where we are......GL will put on a fun and challenging match and I think a few more of us will get out more and get involved again to drive up interest.....so hopefully 2015 will see better numbers.
good luck to all!
Know if there is a way to get involved to help out in any way with the BCRA or for the BC Precision Rifle competitions?
No sighters, but there will be a 10 rnd single indicated deliberate at each range to help out those who lack access to a >200m range.
Im out, I have to work Saturday.
I spent 5 Hours at the range yesterday practicing. This is a kick in the nutz for me....
