Where did you get that foam?
I have an old pelican case that is in dire need of some and I don't want to pay there crazy prices.
It's something that Smith Enterprise did for me several years ago for a 22" SAGE Mod 1 build.
I had to trim a little and fill in the barrel channel, but I think it turned out pretty good.

Replacement foam isn't real expensive, but shipping charges are really high.

As with winter right around the corner, the little beast in the safe was desperate to get out to the range. So out of the goodness of my heart the Norinco yet again, shot better than I hoped. Even in 30km/h winds and 7'' of snow :)

Loaded M1A in fajen stock that I got from treeline.

It was one of those fat NM stock, I slimmed it down around 1/4 inch on each side, sanded and it has 3 coats of tung oil now.

Pretty happy with the result, still need to fit the trigger(hammer strikes too far from bolt) and bed the whole thing.

^^^ Really really really nice. I've got the SM M1a. Stock is super super heavy walnut. I think I'll strip it and do the tung oil. Mine came bedded, thank goodness, as I'd mess that up. I had wanted to put a bipod on but the bedding prevents that.
