Finished my build today. Overall weight is 9.2 lbs without scope and 11.2 with my US Optics on it.

I was just looking at those Stevo and wondering if they would fit up well on a norinco 5round shorty mag as well as they appear to fit the AIA mag.

Yes….unfortunately restricted @ 16.25"bbl. But so were my AR's (now all gone to make room for this beast!)

Beautiful socom. You know, I can't say that I've seen a m14 that I didn't like.

Except maybe for that one that went on a adventure through the dishwasher. That was bad.

Thanks guys!….yes, the Trijicon front sight is OEM on the SOCOM16. Not sure about the height vs standard model. It is definitely wider….for CQB(?)
