Canpar......What the hell?

I had a terrible experience with them especially when trying to pick up my package. I filed a complaint with Canpar.

They lost two of my AR's once I was a few hours away from having to deal with the RCMP... Was less then impressed....

Guys, get yout stuff shipped at your work address, not at home. No matter who's delivering, if you work during the day, this makes things at lot easier.

Worst company ever...
Arranged to have my wife stay home to receive my package. They never even rang the doorbell, just left a note. To add insult to injury, there was no signature required, the F*#ktard could have just left it in the mailbox.

Me too, looked into Canpar for shipping stuff out, took whole of 2 minutes (while physically at their location) to figure I'd never deal with them.

Well at least I am not alone in my misery with Capar service or lack there of! Monday no slip no package, Tuesday same thing and I was home! To night left work early again! Wednesday!! Sat in my truck in my yard by the road, and be damed if that Canpar person just drove by didn't even slow down. Debated chasing after him but decided it would probably be better for me if I didn't. It might have gotten messy . An hour away the terminal and be sides I must work early How would I contact them to make a compliant . Dam frustrating!!! Will probably try and go tomore night.:bangHead:

I'm still waiting on my package. it went back to the shipping warehouse after two attempts. I paid an extra 10$ to have it delivered to my parents place instead and its been another 4 days and still no package. I really hope it arrives tomorrow because next week they wont be home during the day and I will miss the package again!!!

can't deliver to my work because its a construction site and no parcel truck is going to drive into this craphole of a site......

I live in Vancouver and have never ordered from Canada Ammo or Budget Shooter Supply because they both ship via Canpar. I would like to support these two great local businesses but I don't want my package returned to sender because I work during the day and Canpar employees are incompetent.

I've ordered from budget shooter supplies and Canpar was good with delivery but I got lucky and was home every time and the driver was really nice as well. Not all bad...someone's got to throw them a bone lol.

Because other whiner threads complained that they left packages at the door so Can Am requested in-person only deliveries.

BTW, I share in your misery but solved the problem with deliveries to work -- I have an understanding with our receiving person.
I also found it helps to make friends with the Canpar delivery person -- I used to have a good one that would actually deliver to
my house after 5:00pm. I think he's gone now, though.

Why can't they just leave it at the door if I sign off on the thing.

I left instructions on the note with the code to my front door and told him go in and open package, clean the gun, sight in in for 50 yards and put it away in my safe. Oh, I had him let my dog out and fill my wood bin too while he was there. No issues at all.

I guess I just have a good driver.

I have a similar experience, except we never lock our door haha

I bought a stripped upper and lower reciever combo from Irunguns. Delivered by Canpar. I left an note for the driver asking him to leave the package under the BBQ by the back door (via the delivery notice instruction sheet). I had no issues, package was waiting for me when I got home.

Well I've had it.

Sorry to say this but Canam has lost my business over this crackhead company they use to deliver...

I paid an extra $10 to have the package shipped to my parents place, It left barrie terminal 5 days ago (1 hour drive away) and they cannot find it now.....everytime i call them they tell me something different.....First it was delievered and signed....then they werent sure.....Then its in Mississauga.....Now they have NO IDEA where it is.....2 days of them suppost to call me back.....NEVER get a call back, I always have to call them and go through the saaaaaame process all over again.

Next step is I call the police and tell them they have lost my two firearms. I'm at my wits end with these yahoo's.....

I thought only the shipper could start a trace, report a problem? What does CanAm have to say about this?
Have Can Am deal with them, they sent it. No reply to email? call them (Phone: 1.866.960.0045) a/p their website.

Had ammo supposed to be delivered by the end of the day. Called at 430pm to see what was going on as tracking hadn't changed since it was picked up. They have no idea where the packages are. Will not do business anymore with any company that uses Canpar.
