Tangent Theta scopes???

Who has experience with these scopes in 5-25x56mm Model TT525P model? I understand these are built in Canada which I like and are suppose to be wicked for long distance but I'd like to hear/read real life experience from others?!! Pics? Used on what rifles? Thank you my fellow CGNer's,

Canadian made optic eh... Are these like King Optics? ;)

I'm interested as well. Never heard of them until recently and would like to learn more. What's the background on TT? Who are they and where are they from?
 
the name Andrew Webber rings a bell............but I can't put my finger on it........maybe the name will shed some light for someone

Evidently this is his company in one way or another, is he related to the canoe builder in newfoundland the builds scorpion scopes on the side?? did he set up a new shop in Halifax??
 
We viewed the manufacturing facility in Halifax and spoken with the owner, Andrew Webber and have also shot with two of the engineers. One was with Premier and previously with Schmidt & Bender. They have been working flat out at the literal expense of millions of dollars to meet the highest and latest military standards which even most top-shelf product cannot meet.

These scopes have some advanced features and are at least on par with anything in the world.

We, as Canada's largest Nightforce dealer, hold their effort in high regard.

It is difficult to refrain from posting my opinion on those who compare this new company to K. Optics!

I checked out their web site, very impressive features...I've contacted the Ontario dealer to check on pricing. I do have a spare kidney so hopefully they are less than that :)
 
I as well have been to the manufacturing facility a few times and helped with some part prototypes. Great team of people and they have been working very hard, they want to make sure that when the product goes on the market to end users it will be perfect.
They'll be at Shot show next week.
 
If I had the spare money I would totally put their $3600 optic on my $450 rifle and be off to the races ;)

The only bad thing I've heard about Tangent Theta/Premier Reticles is the big pricetag, but from the sounds of it they make serious quality.

Just out of curiosity, Tangent Tetha and King Optics both owned by Andrew Webber?

Peter - thanks for this info. My comparison to King Optics was in jest - I know they aren't in the same universe. :)

Does TT have any current Mil contracts? Obviously not the only measure of quality product, but would be interested to hear if their stuff is in use in the field.
 
canucklehead, thanks, appreciate comments. It is not for us to comment on their contracts, but I do known that they have been on a mission to meet latest milspecs regardless of cost. Not aware of anyone else meeting these standards including guess who?
 
King Optics and Scorpion have no business being mentioned in the same thread as Tangent Theta.

TT experience will be next to none as they are brand new and as far as I know only one dealer in the states has a couple of pre-production samples.
 
I'd love to hear from somebody who actually runs one of these atop of their rifle. Experience? Pics? I've googled N read all kinds of reviews but no actual person with actual usage??? Thanks CGNer's,
