They look like MBUS, the front one would typically be turned the other way. But should work the same none the less.

PTS MBUS, $20.00 on eBay. I chose these so I wouldn't be out much just in case my little experiment failed.

The front sight is installed backwards for maximum sight radius, and it does work the same, plus co-witness in the lower 3rd.

I forgot to post some pictures of the JRA that I received a few months back. So here it is when I first got it.



I just mounted the scope on it today.

What kind of accuracy are you getting with that rig? by the way, other than the fact the scope looks too long, that is the nice looking gun ive seen in this thread yet !! im saving up for a JRA or SA NM .. cant decide which yet.

I haven't gotten around to mounting my NightForce on the M1A yet, but it will look identical to that. Nice work. That's a different mount; the one I have from M14.ca is the CASM Steel mount.

I was getting about 3'' at 100 meters with the irons sights the first time I took it out when I got it. I haven't had a chance to shoot it again since I have made some changes.
