Hell, just sell us mk7 bullets in bulk!
I'm an acquaintance of an ammo maker in the states and started talking with him about our 303 situation and he offered to do a couple runs of it for us if there is enough interest. He told me he can likely make it for around 50 cents a round for reloadable match grade ammo, but he'd need a minimum order of approximately 4000 rounds. Any interest?
I'll add my vote to the yes column, or at the very least for the Mk7 bullets themselves.
How is this even a question???????
As a previous post noted, any new ammunition must be approved by NRCAN before it can be legally sold in Canada. This is an expensive and time consuming process. It is a major reason why there is a derth of surplus ammo available in Canada. Most potential importers do the math and realize that it simply isn't cost effective to go forward with the importation.
A more likely option would be to import reasonably priced plated or FMJ .303 projectiles for handloading, along with boxer primed brass.
