You're right .......... Powder & primers are hard to get down here so you buy them whenever you can and stock up.
8LB'rs with some older Higginson bulk.

LOL .... "Bush" is a family name. I use the can for spare change. I hoard that too.How much time you spending in there that you have to store a can of beans close at hand?

The last time I cashed in my change, I counted up $1800 and bought a safe with some $$ to spare for powder.![]()
I used a lot of Bluedot for slug and buckshot loads when Alliant was available everywhere. I pretty much gave up on it and switched to Longshot (which I see you have). Personally, I'd just make do since if the rumours are true we wont be seeing much Alliant until at least late 2015/early 2016. Of course, once it starts coming back, it'll be flying off the shelves like Hodgdon and IMR rifle powders are now. They're coming in on a somewhat regular basis but are selling out almost immediately and will probably continue to do so for at least a few more months if not a year or two.I'm trying to find myself some Blue Dot and I'll be happy
thanks all horder, thats why price go up,and stock goes low

Real hoarders stocked up when dealers couldn't give it away. Panic buyers lick the empty shelves and pay 40-50. A hoarder didn't build up a hoard by paying double.

I certainly won't feel sorry for any powder-challenged people who blame me for their lack of foresight.
