Looking for answers for something else. I found out that Norc CQ-A only has a service life of 6000rds. What the manual states.

https://www.marstar.ca/html/reflibrary/Manuals/cqa.html

But cant say I heard of a norc bolt "breaking" under 1000rds

I have well over 6K on my 14.5. No bolt issues, and have only replaced the gas rings. Still runs like a champ, and is still just as accurate as the day I bought it

Well my norc was my first AR. That thing ate my crappy handloads high pressure to the lowest. Ate 4000 .22 with a cmmg conversion, the cmmg bolt broke and the mags worn out but the gun was fine. The only issues ive had with it were the charging handle notch pin fell out easy fix with a screw and I couldn't get the god damn front sight pins out so I just left it out

done

I guess these nutjobs only work on mondays and fridays then.

I don't get everyone who says NEA are a great bunch of guys who make solid rifles, when we have a boatloads of evidence to the opposite, right on this forum.

And people are still buying their ####?

NEA has the absolute worst track record of any AR-15 manufacturer on this continent, and that says a lot because there is a metric #### ton of awful AR-15 mfg's in the U.S.

I know some people have had good luck with NEA rifles but I recently tested one (along with several other rifles) at work and I as well as 6 other guys felt the same about the NEA......crap

The first time that rifle was fired, the flash suppressor was on soo loose that it flew down range with the bullet. Once it was more securely attached, we shot more. With every press of the trigger, that rifle felt like a rusted tin can. Noises and pinging. Just felt stiff and rough.

At the end of the first testing day, it incurred about 500 rounds or so. The next day I go take the rifle out the safe and I noticed what looked like a white salt stain on the safety and in and around trigger pins. So then when I went to turn the safety off, she wouldn't budge. Whatever the white salty stuff was, it caused the safety to stick in the "safe" position. We had to eventually use the corner of a table to disengage the safety.

Out of the 6 guns tested, this was the only one that was mutually hated. All guns were lubed the same (slip 2000) and fired the same. And no I'm not a long time NEA basher. I wanted to like this gun for the simple fact that it would be a great addition to my personal toy box but after testing it, no way. I would rather buy a Norc.

Substantiate your claim with fact please.... not personal bias or opinion....

I've had two NEA including a new 12.5" that I presently have, no problems at all. Jeff will take care of this guys issues for sure, unless there is more to the story we have yet to hear.!

Who do you think you are?

You mean the 12.5" you're presently trying to sell in the EE with "200 rounds with out any problems", which you talked about in another thread stating you shot 250 rounds one morning, FLAWLESSLY? Jesus dude you're quite the funny guy.

That flashider I can see that happening to due to its design, early vortex. Had that issue till they changed it.
The other issues at times is the nitrite finish, depending on the QC some times small parts can become enbrittled.

Haha everything had to happen to me lol I wonder which part is next? 'Scratching my head' my next thread is going to be "WTB full ballistic face shield/helmet with bomb suit" lol

After all the BS with NEA and being run off the forums... how many failures will it take before people stop feeding them? The best warranty is the one we never need because the gun is quality made!

Seriously, people need to get off the "but but! its Canadian made! Support your fellow Canadian company!"

We deserve to be represented by better quality then this!

ATRS makes a quality rifle if you want Canadian. Not cheap but don't hear these horror stories.
