Lets Talk About The 22LR Situation....again :)

Just because you do not want to pay the going rate does not mean there is a shortage, just means you are cheap, you need to learn "if you play you need to pay" that's just live get over it

...

It's a gouge. I would pass on it.

For the price he's asking, you can get a case of Federal 711B Match 22LR from Hirsch Precision/Target Shooting Products Canada. They're reputable.

Beginning in 2011-2012 all you heard from the US outdoor forums , was the 22 lr shortage. It continues today. So in 2012 until mid 2013 I began purchasing 6-8 bricks per month. Remember these were only 18.00 to 20.00 per brick. There was always lot's on the shelf for others when I left

Didn't anyone else see this shortage coming?

Well if suppliers, manufacturers even the retailers create a demand, and the more fortunate deprive the less of course there will be a shortage but in the end unless you're in the armed forces, including the local crowd/civilian control when they ban civilian owner ship you'll have to turn them all in. And it's highly unlikely you'll get the marked up rate for them if anything at all.

Out and about in rural Manitoba this weekend and I found;
Remington 525 bulk @ $35
Winchester 333 bulk @ $20
Winchester 555 bulk @ $25
Yellow Jacket bricks of 500 @ $56
Seems to be a bit of stock around now.

The only thing I can't find is CCI Stinger, or any high/hyper velocity CCI product. But I have a bunch of VIPER, & it is Hyper Velocity. I noticed Wanstalls has it for $51.99 a brick also. {another place had it for $59.99 recently!} kinda Meh still on the prices.. & the cone shape can be finicky in SOME mags for semi-auto .22's.
