Lee Load Master vs. Lee Pro 1000

He's trying to weasle out of it because you can't load that way on a LM, tubes need to be rotated to feed cases because the LM does not infact use a case feeder just a collator... He knows it too and I was being nice by not bringing that argument into play.

Since you don't know the difference case feeder:

Case collator:

Loadmaster comes with case feeder, case collator is $12.

It's effectively the exact same thing as a 650 with no case feeder.l you just get 1 tube instead of 4

Wow you just don't give up!

$384 goes into $566 how many times?

Math not your strong suite?

You must work for a collection agency, they are the only people I know who can see $$500 on a piece of paper and swear up an down it's 3x that.

Most that have bought the LM have done so for around $275 all in. The $556 pricing on the Dillon does not give you a reloader with the same features, to get the Dillon to provide the same features makes it around $775.

Quit fixing prices again, I posted MSRP DEAL WITH IT.

both presses come complete with 1 caliber conversion minus dies, exact same features believe it or not.

I'm showing you prices from Cabelas and Brian Enos, whom together probably sell a hell of a lot of Lee and Dillon presses respectively compared to buying straight from Lee or Dillon. Do you pay MSRP for everything you buy? Or the price at point of sale? And as much as you want to say it has the same features, it doesn't, and still costs twice as much.

I'm showing MSRP, you want a fair fight than accept that prices go up and down.

So even though most people pay 65% of the MSRP on the LM, and everyone pays pretty close to MSRP for the Dillon, it's fair to use the MSRPs of both to compare the performance of each reloader on equal terms eh?

Ummmm ya that's how professionals compair everything from cars to diapers but since it's not in your favour I know you aren't interested in it.

So we're back to saying the 911 is better than the Miata and disregarding the magnitudes of price difference, lol

Mind sharing what car(s) you own? lol

I'm just surprised you haven't drew a parallel between what Lee now is asking for the LM and WSS has it's new stock listed for... Would you freak out if I told you that the price is going up?

... The square deal is still a better product, the "case feeder" barely qualifies . Not to mention retention of value. Used square deals go for 3/4 of their new price. Used lees usually go in the garbage .

I understand the "it's double the price" argument but the fact of the matter is crap is crap. If you want to load, and load easily buy a dillon. If you want to save a couple hundred bucks and make reloading a curse swear and pray operation I'd probably go with the load master over the 1000 . But trust the bulk of people telling you it's crap

I could easily afford a 650 with case feeder or a 1050 for that matter. Instead I got a LM to my door for just under $300 Can all in. Only thing I have added is the Inline Fab roller handle. I shoot IPSC and have loaded thousands of 9mm, 40sw and .45acp.

To make the LM work properly you must have a rock solid bench. The priming system works fine when you keep it clean. I decap, resize and clean all my brass before I run it through the LM. This keeps the whole press clean and functioning properly. You also need to remove any flash in the priming system and adding a little graphite powder helps.

The case feeder is a little finicky but once set up runs good. I have had maybe 3 or 4 flipped/crushed primers in many thousands of rounds and those occurred before I had a rock solid bench. I can spit out rounds faster than my friends with the 550's. It only takes a little extra effort to make the LM run smoothly.

Nothing wrong with Dillon equipment but the same cant be said for some of the users of that equipment.

Hotwheels81, what kinda tools do you own? I'm guessing you wouldn't dare own anything master craft?

Dillion is a great piece machinery but ignorant fan boys like you seem to have trouble grasping the fact that Lee presses cost what they cost for a reason. They are the equivalent of Norinco and master craft. Some of their stuff is crap and there isn't much getting around that. But for the most part it's a great product at a great price.
