Still can't believe you sold the ChatFudd & Taylor...
Must have been that hideous laminate stock....

I'm sorry, sometimes they write themselves. That's not nice....

It's got so much going one...it's matte, it's stainless, it's plywood. I'm so confused. Make up your mind!!!

I felt the 'need' for a 375 Chatfield Taylor.
It's a keeper.That was spoofing SC's comment...
I liked it... but he sold it...
My interest in that specific cartridge started some time ago. There were a number of articles I'd seen on it, as well as info in P.O. Ackleys volume II Handbook For Shooters & Reloaders that sparked my interest. Even though I already have a model 70 Winchester Super Express in 375 H&H,
I felt the 'need' for a 375 Chatfield Taylor.

Taking into consideration such trivial 'things' like age, I don't know if I'll ever get to use either on 'appropriate' situations in the field. However,as I
still enjoy shooting and reloading, after seeing the rifle Paul had, I thought I'd better work on 'obtaining' one. It's a keeper.
Got this rifle in 358Win finished last year. Bevan King did the fine work on the 22" bbl and another friend did the action work and bedding the McMillan. Weighs 7lbs 4oz as shown with FXII 4x. I'm quite pleased with it and good thing as Johnn Peterson recently talked me out of my 357CT so this rifle will nicely fill the the med bore gap in my safe.
Has shot very nice groups with 200 and 250 gr Hornadys. Still need to do some work on 250gr Speers and some 200gr TTSXs I have on the heap. Very flexible chambering for this part of the world for both deer and moose.
