The Anschutz,Cooper,Sako,Walther,Krico,Weihrauch...You get the idea, picture thread!

I have a Anschutz 64mp as well. only got it last week, how do you like yours? I was hoping for a little heavier trigger to practice for my hunting rifles however it is what it is. the trigger is leaps and bounds better than a regular hunting trigger, so I enjoy it for what it is right now. Congratulations. I have a 6-20 leupy ao on mine. I only wish it had a heavier 2 pound trigger instead of the under 1 pound. it is sweet.

I haven't had the pleasure of shooting it yet, but I'm sure looking forward to doing that. I think when you get an Anschutz you kinda have to expect a trigger that's not going to be heavy. It's just the nature of the beast. I would have been very disappointed to have a heavy trigger in a gun designed for target shooting.

Being a multipurpose gun I was actually expecting a trigger that would be around 1-2 pound range but is definitely a target trigger it is very sweet. What kind of ammunition are you going to use with this. Guy I bought mine from trying to tell me to stay away from copper wash and use only target Lead waxed 22lr ammo. However I've been asking around and people say to use anything I want except stay away from stingers with a longer case.

Do not use Stingers. For best results from a gun like the MPR, use standard velocity ammunition. Copper wash ammo is usually higher velocity; lead only and lubed ammo is usually sub-sonic (meaning it is below the speed of sound) and is more accurate. I'll be using match ammo and have stocked up on a few bricks of SK Rifle Match and Standard Plus; I also have some Lapua, Eley, and RWS.

With tricky winds at our monthly 100 Metre 22 BR, this puppy shot a 592-29x with a best group of 0.514" c-c using the 100 yard Unlimited target.

I just picked up another 52 this weekend. This one is a 52 C heavy target in a thumbhole stock. It was manufactured in 1952. I had to borrow a friends scope so that I could shoot it. And what a great shooter it is. I shot a 246/250 at 50 meters.
