Wait till you see the new pricing on SAN products though. The CHF is trading over 1.37 now, the last shipments of rifles were brought in when it was about 1.08. The price differential will not be as small as people think.

I know lots of people waiting to unload used ones at a bargain as soon as the status is changed to allow sales again.

Is Famae sg540 or 542 for $2499 good deal? But their mags price is 5x pmags. Sigh.

I think the 542 is worth it since it's in rarer company as a 7.62mmX51 rifle, and the SAN equivalent (if/when it arrives) will be much more expensive.

18" barrel would still be restricted?

They are currently only available from factory with a 16" barrel and then you need to have someone make and fit a new barrel in your desired length. You just missed a big sale on New ACR's by both Arms east and Irunguns. Doubtful if prices that low will be seen again

lots of speculation as to what will happen but there are those just wanting to unload them for cheap the first legal chance they get.

the gunsmith that fits your new barrel just has to verify the rifle and send in a form.

it only cost around 600 to 1000$ , add that to the 2500-3000$ at the start

bushmaster have 0 support for that rifle no conversion kit from the factory , all have to be custom if you want one , XCR is way better for that wolverine will take care of anything if needed, xcr is a all metal construction , it use any ar15 grip , you can swap the one form the acr ...

XCR currently costs more than the last ACR I bought and as tested by me, the XCR (older version)was neither as accurate and had lots of FTF FTE problems

Xcr-l come with a factory 18.6 inch long barrel made in 7.62x39mm,5.56 , 6.8spc, 300 blackout , they even got a kit in 5.45x39mm ,

Xcr-m is made in 308win , 243win and 260 ,

you can have the L and M in pistol version ,

most Xcr will be a 2-3 moa rifle but some claim better grouping mine is around 1.5-2 moa ,

because of our $ that is now low , the black xcr-l start at around 2500 , the M is around 2900/3000$

they came in various configuration , quad rail , keymod , if somebody want they can do a custom order and get some partial rail , Light or heavy barrel

the XCR hater will say that with their ACR they can do less than a moa with a custom made barrel ,
