That's a beaut! How's the cheek weld with the ctr? I have a larue cheek riser that looks like it would mate up perfectly, I may pick up a ctr and give it a go one mine, although with the added riser it's probably similar weight if not more then the prs I have on.

Finally picked mine up. Thanks to Rick, Shawn, Dustin, and the rest of the gang. It was a long wait, but well worth it. I couldn't make it to the range after 7 hours of driving, so I thought I'd take some pictures to share. The range has to wait until Sunday.....damn busy lifestyle!

That's a mostly correct assumption. The hunter uses a DPMS high profile style AR10 handguard.
Any chance of getting some input on ammo selections, or better yet, promising loads? First trip to the range to zero with my EE purchase today, ran some Hornady 168gr A-max as well as some 168gr Superformance. The A-max showed some promise, I managed one group of 4 with one pulled shot hovering around the 1 moa mark, he showed some more consistency with a few nicer groups but nearly every group had some inconsistency to it despite very consistent velocity's. Superformance ran hot, blew two primers and stopped after 5 rds. Definitely shows signs of promise, it's going to take some patience to get there.

Ok guys no rounds fired yet but I have it pretty much the way I want it, I almost went with a VCOG this morning instead as it was an awesome fit on this rifle hunting wise, but 1-6 mag would limit me for the longer ranges. Ended up going with my usual pick the 5-20 trg23. Heading to CAP's this afternoon to see if I can match up the colour to paint the Pmags

And my best results have been with Federal gold medal match factory ammo, the 168gr sierra match king variety.
