AR contingency plan...

That didn't stop the RCMP in Prohib CZ858

I would venture to say there are more AR platforms than out there than you would think. Regardless it all adds to the numbers so let it fly!
The greater the number the greater the monetary figure we can attach to show the gross extortion of personal property.

Election has definitely sped up my purchase dates on a few items. An AR is definitely one of them, especially now considering the potential outcome this fall.

Strength in numbers seems to be the order of the day.
Hey,

Am not an AR owner, but thinking with the election of getting a lower "just in case.". Suggestions?

AeroPrecision lowers are very good vale for the money. Questar has some very nice Spikes lowers too:

Anyone hard up for cash but wanting to get in the game can get an Omni lower for $70!!! I've seen a few and they work fine.

Piss off the Angry Beard... Buy an AR!

numbers!
I agree with all these guys ^ the more AR's, the stronger our voice. And the more of a hassle we become to people looking at banning shiate.

Same here, I plan on getting one in the next couple of weeks. Not sure why it's taken me this long to get one (this will be my first) but I guess it's because there's just to many ways to spend money at this hobby.

Im also not a fan of AR's, I just have 2 cheap Colt Canadas in the safe for a rainy day. I rather have money tied up in riffles I can use everywhere.

Bite the bullet. Buy the complete gun. Stockpile ammo for it. Buy high cap mags that are pinned by rivets.

Understand something here, guys. Liberals hate ALL guns and they hate gun owners too. If they go after the AR the same way they did with the Swiss Arms or the 858...owning a functionally useless lower will be enough to get you sent to the can too.

The goat rodeo with the Swiss and the 858 May have finally taught them something: we know the liberals want to take our guns . We aren't going to give them up. How do they want to proceed?

Quite frankly I don't even want an AR. I don't care for restricted rifles. However I bought one for the specific purpose of being one more AR owner.

I'll admit, this was a driving factor for me getting an AR last month. It was also a big part of driving me to get a cheap pistol to lock in the "R" in my "RPAL" a couple years ago when the 858 and Swiss Arms fiasco broke out.

Glad I got the pistol, really started getting into handgun shooting.

The AR... Still not loving it, but somehow it keeps eating money for upgrades. So it goes.

Agreed.

Numbers matter. The political storm that happened with the 858 and Swiss Arms showed that. I think it scared both Miramachi and Ottawa to see the outrage that ensued - I don't think either group had any idea just how pissed off the firearm community would get, and how active we would get about fighting for our rights. I don't even own either of these guns, but I believe, quite firmly, that as a gun owner in general, I very much have a stake in that fight.

We can't let them take one inch. We've already given up too many miles, one inch at a time.

I have purchased 3 more with the possibility of purchasing more lowers.
