Koran repair Leupold 1" scopes in Canada but the LPS 30mm have to be sent to the US. To do that requires lots of permits and paper work on both sides of the border so in some cases it could take time, it isn't the fault of the manufacturers who are more or less forced to do batch shipping.
Lost
I sell almost every manufacturer of scopes (with a few exceptions). We sell a couple of thousand scopes a year and rarely see Leupold returned for any reason and that is usually the case with more expensive makes. The companies that make entry level models will see far more returned. This is just my experience but it does come from being in the industry for quite some time and seeing what products and companies have the most problems and how they deal with them. Phil.A friend of mine raves about Korth. He has sent ever single one of his leupolds in for repairs a minumum of 2-3 times( no B.S) but gets them back pronto. Personally I would never own a scope so unreliable. Glad I got rid of mine.

Again I would be interested to hear what problems you are having with Korth because this has not been our experience. What have you done to complain to Korth about these problems? Phil.
Nightforce has the fewest warranty claims.
I've sent stuff to korth, one Leopold scope returbpnrd in less than 2 weeks. I had a new leuopold 650 yard rangefinder that crapped out, they replaced it with the 750 yard model no questions asked, less than two weeks again. Korth is fantastic service and everyone I know who've dealt with them agrees.
I skimmed the thread and didn't see Vortex once.. That's their big selling point, I thought, their great warranty. I went with a Leupold for my first optic, but have been thinking of upgrading. Interesting thread.
...from what guys are saying in the States...
