Modulus Arms 80 Percent AR15 / AR10 Lower BUILD KITS

Sent email and response was just about an hour so for now they still have my order. Some times thing come up like this

If it was a simple ITAR issue why take the jigs and bits off their site? They aren't ITAR controlled. You can order them from the US with no problems.

From my email conversation with Sam they are trying to save the whole deal and if not then just the jigs are are consolation prize. That why I left my order cause it's really just there jig I want the extra lower was just the gravy.

yes,,the Dlask deal is both upper and lower...sorry to here Lockhart is having issues US exportation issues,,SOMEBODY start doing these IN CANADA,,,not very hard for a CNC mill,,,i mean SFRC is selling their own 10% lower for $130.00,,,so 80% should be doable for less,,

Sorry everyone! We're been trying to sort everything out.

We're still waiting for Modulus Arms to get back to us.

The JIGS will still be available for sure. We just stopped all Modulus sales for now until we have it cased. We don't want to have any more delays for anyone. Once we hear back from Modulus on whats going on, we'll have our jigs sent to us, and then post them for sale to ensure customers get them immediately after they purchase.

We're sorry to all for this hassle and confusion. This was not the intent at all! I am confident however that everyone with an order was contacted. Please email us at info@lockharttactical.com or call (250) 715 7290, if you have any questions.

Thank you all again.

Strange, new company, not answering questions and items completely vanished from the site, does not Instill confidence! I want to get an ar10 blank and try doing it myself, but with this I think I will stick with the tried and true, "other sponsor" that brings these in on a regular basis! To bad, a little competition help keep their pencils sharp and prices reasonable!

strange indeed,,new on here,,,and no response,,and product dissappear from their site,,seems Lockhart got a case of the chickens,,,if you guy really want these 80%...you could go with a proven name in Canada,,,,DLASK has nice sets of 80% lowers with their 100% uppers for $230.00 right now,,,you know they aren't fly by night..

Hey guys, we took the products off the side the moment modulus put us on hold. We just didn't want anyone else ordering Modulus while we're going through this complication with them. The jigs will soon be available. I couldn't feel more terrible about this situation, as we felt very welcomed here on the forum and firearms community. We are aware that mistakes like this can be costly for our name and business and that's the LAST thing we ever want. We want to thank everyone for their patience. For those that have kept their orders on hold with us, we'll keep you in the loop!

For those few that have asked for refunds, we processed those immediately.

We aim to keep a very transparent business, and although this error is mostly on us for not having our agreement with modulus tested, we promise to ensunsre all calls and emails are awered as fast as we possibly can. We hope to earn back all of your trust and confidence.

-Samuel

Awesome, in web based sales, it is of the utmost importance to communicate with your prospective clients, as we cannot go to a brick and mortar store and discuss, look at and touch items as well as clear up any problems. Most of us here at CGN have been buying online for a long time now but the spider senses start to tingle when there is no communication, a good percentage of us have been burned at least once! We keep doing it because for us it gives a wider range of products/ sellers/ and prices, sometimes much better quality product can be gotten at lower prices! If your trust and respect is earned, we are quite a loyal bunch!
Good luck,
Cheers Bob

Hey Guys,

We saw this thread and wanted to let you guys know the deal. Samuel from Lockhart is telling you the truth. We were working with him on a dealership program and were hoping to sell him all the products that he wanted. In the USA, the gun laws can be complex and we need to be very careful how we import or export anything remotely related to firearms.

The ATF classifies what is or is not a firearm and as you you all may know 80% are not classified as firearms until you start the completion process. ITAR is what regulates what can and cannot be exported out of the USA. If it is on the USML it is an ITAR regulated item. The problem is that the USML is not just a list that says the exact parts. It is quite vague. 80% receivers are not clearly regulated or not.

The only way to get a determination if something is regulated or not is by contacting one of the bureaucratic US offices and request a determination. It takes a minimum of 4-6 months to get a determination, if not longer. If it is regulated, you must get a license to export it. This is expensive and would not make it worthwhile to do so. If it isn't regulated you can import/export it just like anything else.

Jigs and tools are not regulated and can be exported without restrictions.

Sorry for any inconvenience.

Any idea if you guys will be doing any ar15 lowers with integrated trigger guards? Not a huge deal, but love the look of them. As of right now there's no company in Canada offering 80% lowers with one. Hell, there's only one other 80% available in Canada.

Hope everything gets sorted.

Then when I phone you guys 2 months ago why wouldn't you sell me a jig

Did anyone else get a message that their order was refunded? I was one of the guys who wanted to keep my order...

As of right now sir, we're refunding to clear up this whole problem.
Modulus isn't reliable right now and we don't want to be holding your hard earned money.

As soon as we get parts in (who knows when...), we'll announce it and they will ship immediately from inventory.

Until then, all modulus orders will be refunded.

Thank you, and sorry again!

Dont worry you wont ever be getting my hard earned money again. Posting black friday deals on items you didn't have in stock and then blaming another company for being unreliable is hilarious when clearly you marked everything as in stock. No doubt we will be getting a refund having you take money for items you did not actually have and not telling anybody it was a pre-sale or pre-order.

Sir we send everyone an email with a modulus order from us. We are really sorry if somehow you were missed. Please check your junk mail as it may have somehow fallen into a crack there. All Modulus orders are being refunded at this time to ensure we're not holding anyone's money. We hope to make up this mishap to all of our clients. Its been extremely frustrating for us as well.

This wasn't supposed to be a pre-order sir. Stock was ordered and supposed to be on its way. The company we're working with backed out at the last second after we had a deal established. I'm not putting all the blame on them, I'm merely trying to say, this wasn't our envisioned plan :)

We appreciate your feedback however, and its noted. We're sorry we couldn't resolve this issue with you, as we certainly don't want enemies.
