By itself I find it much lighter than I expected. . But it's kind of heavy with the scope and all the extras... I'm thinking of getting rid of the weight and keeping it as light as possible. Think il go eotech and buis
 
I know... tough call. .. but I don't think il be doing much precision shooting with it. Or even hunting for that matter. This scope is really clear and I like the reticle but I like the two eye open shooting with the eotech, seems more fun to me. Plus it will be much lighter.

that's the root I'm taking with the 338fed upper but just going to use a set of flip up sights and no scope

there was no deer wen I finally got out hunting
I did fire a few rounds off, nothing crazy just shooting at clam shells at 25 yards it killed every clam shall I shot at

This rifle is getting harder to resist. Especially since buddy carverk went and got one haha.
Might have to place an order for that .338fed modern hunter when I see how carverk's turns out.
Anxiously awaiting a range report when that upper gets in his mitts

Yea great combo there, might have sold me on one now . looks like it would be actually great to carry out in the bush hunting ect. unlike most of the builds i have seen on here that look more like heavy SAPRs with varmint barrels and PRS stocks ect.. Not fun for hiking and hunting . Do they offer that barrel in a 6.5cm?
