What the heck is an "NEA-15 CQB"? Grapeshot, you're asserting that's the name of the rifle, so I don't know whether you're joking or if you really don't know what you're talking about.

I give up. CGN polls are clearly scientific and and chicom surplus ammo is clearly precision match grade stuff.
Don't buy an NEA if you are a hater and you wanna hate. No skin off my back. I just hate when people are blinded to the point their critical thinking skills get stuck in the "OFF" position. to the point they troll permanently and concisely for years and consistently need to mail bomb every NEA thread.
Just saying. It get tiresome. Fast. We, the CGN masses, get it Mr. Grapeshot. You hate NEA and always will, no matter what. I think that about covers your position. Can we all move on now?
like I said before, if in a few years there are fewer or no reports of problems I'd probably give them another shot.
I don't really have any ill will towards them. They did make it right after I made a warranty claim. If in another 5 years we're not seeing any more bi-weekly "my NEA broke" threads, I might give them another shot. But for now, buying Canadian for me means buying Colt Canada. I just with they'd release some parts individually so I wouldn't have to part out so many rifles.![]()
Ain't that the truth or Ontario will file Chapter 11...We need successful manufacturers there more than ever.

Precisely. No has ever denied that NEA has had serious problems, least of all me. The unfortunate thing is that a handful of CGNers see red whenever they hear NEA and can never add anything to the discussion other than "NEA is crap" or "NEA sucks". As you said, their critical thinking skills stop functioning.
And a month from now when someone buys a 3 year old NEA-15, has an issue, and posts pictures on CGN we will go through this same old circus act again. A few people here have so much invested in their hatred for NEA, their narrative will never change.
The gen 1 failed badly and the replacement gen2 that they sent me failed too. What does it take for people to understand that Nea is a POS? Shrapnel to the face? Dangling fingers? Nea is a company that started with lies and will continue to lie and make crap. The fackin China nork is better than that ####.

Case in point.
03/18/2015 Hollllyy Smokesss. what a differenceeeeee. I am speechless. the quality on their gen 2 is wayyyyyyy better. no wonder there are 2 groups here, one that hates them (gen 1) one that loves them (gen2).
You admit they had serious problems when they first started making rifles. That was in 2008. But after seeing reports of significant issues well into 2014 and 2015, would you admit they are still having problems with their products?
They started making rifles in 2008? Either your capacity for critical thought is limited or you are repeating bad info you've read on the Internet.
About North Eastern Arms
Founded in 2008, North Eastern Arms combines over five decades of aerospace development and manufacturing experience to develop small arms and components of a superior standard.
Look, I don't know why you're so testy. I'm just trying to have a reasonable conversation with you. Maybe instead of being snarky, you can actually respond to the question?
Not trying to be "testy" or "snarky", just tired of bad info that people continue to pass on. I am relieved to see that your glass house is ad hominem proof though.
Wrt your question, I'm not sure I recall any significant issues with NEA-15 rifles made in 2015.
What part of my post was "bad info," exactly? Presumably, if they were founded in 2008, they would have started building rifles in 2008. If they still had issues in 2015 with 2014 manufactured rifles, presumably they would have had problems in 2008 as well.
So then from 2008-2014 at least, you would admit they had issues?
