ATRS Modern hunter specs, pics and range reports

I have a PRI carbon fiber handguard and want to trade for a fortis 14. What do you think, good idea or better with the PRI ?

My modern Hunter has a fortis it makes to much noise in the bush for hunting and don't like it
I want to go with Carbon fiber handgard later ATRS has bin eating up my rifle budget for the next 5 years lol

My modern hunter started jamming. I've put 150 ish rds through it and now every 3rd or 4th rd jams. Empty case isn't ejecting and is getting stuck in receiver. Going to strip it and give it a good cleaning but a little disappointing.
Been using hornady 155 tap.

How often have you cleaned the action and bcg? I have 375 rounds through mine as of today. My only issue was a squib. Not the fault of the rifle. These things need to be cleaned often because of the gas system. Also, they like lots of lube.

My 2c.

Ah good to know. Thanks. This is only the second time I've had it out. I only put 100 rds through it the first time out so i didn't bother cleaning it. Il clean it up and try again. Never thought it would need a cleaning with so few rds.

I hope ATRS will add a short video on cleaning and oiling the MH and the MV for us guys that are new to this type of rifle

So what butt stocks does everyone have? I have an A2 fixed but I'm thinking of getting something adjustable. Has anyone put a Troy battle ax on theirs or a magpul ACS?

We put a magpul ACS on one in the shop to test it out, and the shortest collapsible position does not function with the side charge handle. The other 5 positions work fine. I can't imagine anyone running the stock in the fully collapsed position comfortably anyways, but that's a key reason it was not one of the offerings for the hunter.

We've had a few requests for this, so I will talk to Rick and see what we can do. Frankly I would like a newer and updated video in general for the Modern Hunter, and a video period, for the Modern Varmint. We are very busy trying to keep with our 6 month delivery schedule for Modern Hunters and Varmints.

Got to shoot mine for the first time. Didn't have much time, only shot 20 rounds of fed gold. It was flawless.
Wife loved it as well.

That is a beauty rifle I think that's exactly what I would order, maybe with a cfw barrel. Looks nice and light weight, I'd be stoked to take it hunting!

I assume this would apply for all other M4 style collapsible stocks that are a bit on the chunky side eh?
