I seem to recall that there were limits on the starting and finishing times allowed for the club as well? I may be wrong. I'm getting old. I don't even remember last year's Nationals all that well. I also worked the match, which I would definitely consider doing again. Even working one of the long courses and the stage with all of the movers, we were able to stay on top of things. We also really appreciated the random RO's that would come help us out from time to time.
Just throwing out some random ideas, I suppose we could also look at the USPSA model and consider splitting the match...maybe Open/Production Standard/Classic/Revolver? Obviously, if the stages were to stay the same then people could not shoot both matches, and it would really detract from the banquet aspect, but you might be able to have longer matches without the time commitment from all competitors and you might have access to more officials as well.
