The remington 350 magnum

I have a 600 in 350 the only limitation is the magazine length, any bullet over 200 grains needs to be seated deep reducing powder capacity. I shoot Barnes 200 TSX at 2800 fps with TAC, kills real good,

Ever tried 225 gr Swift A-Frame? Their OAL is 0.002 more than the 200 gr TSX. I have a box of both but don't reload at the moment. Been compiling 350 RM stuff for a while just need to decide on a press.

Hey Boomer, I lend you a rifle for a week and then you show it off for years after...........do I get royalties when you post pics of my rifle?

OP.........HOW BAD do you want a Mod 7 KS???????????? That one has a couple dozen black bears to it's credit, and sorry no I do not have the sights for it I got it that way........sans sights.

I have another one................

Ruger also made a 77 in 350 Rem Mag, although they are difficult to find.
I had a Model 7 fullstock from the Custom Shop in 350 RM. It was a nice rifle. It went up north, where it belongs.
Speak of the devil...

OP........If you are who I think you are, you know my son James.........You might try to talk him out of his, he has a Mod 7 CDL I bought him back a few years. Just put it in a Brown Precision Kevlar stock and away you go, pretty much identical to the 7 KS.

GR100............couldn't remember if it was you I got that baby from, too many guns, too many buys and too many years to keep track in my head anymore I'm afraid.............

BUM.....that's not mine with the pretty orange ribbon on it but I'll ask Kelly next time I see him about it..............

I load 225 Nosler ABs, but I snip the plastic tip off with a pair of cable cutters and load it that way to the full length that my magazine will allow. They work amazingly well like that and still shoot right around 1 moa, I only lose 3 gns of plastic but gain about .150" in seating depth..........no downside I can see, and I don't need the B.C. in this cartridge anyway so I don't care about the few points I lose. It is a black bear killing S.O.B..........let me assure you...........

I'am probably not who you you think i'am i live up in Dawson and don't think i know your son James.I do know a couple people who know him through friends, the Yukon is a small place. If you are talking to him i would be interested if he was willing to sell his .350 rem.If not i'am still looking for a gun or more build idea's.

If I can find a left handed Steyr full stock on CGN you should be able to find a suitable .350

Are you stuck on the model 7 KS? Are you fine with a Ruger or Mohawk 600? I've seen those on the EE every once in a while, buy the next closest thing and keep waiting, it will pop up when you least expect it, but making threads like this should help as well, maybe bump the thread every few months and see if someone wants to sell!

If you build a rifle consider the 35-300RCM wildcat. It will let you seat out 0.070" longer. It has a slight gain in case capacity. It should require less work to ensure smooth feeding than the 35WSM. You can shoot 225gr Accubonds without cutting off the tip. And go with a 12 twist

I actually considered doing this with my 225 gr Noslers, but did not know how it would work out. Now I know. :)

I built mine on a Rem 700 SAUM action and used a Wyatt box. Its a very accurate gun, and I'm married to TAC and 200gr TTSXs. Being able to seat out to 2.950 is really helpful.
